A Collaborative Team of Educators

Our teaching faculty brings together subject experts and passionate mentors across languages, sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and commerce. They design engaging lessons, use diverse assessment strategies, and provide timely support so that every student can progress at their own pace while aiming for excellence. Regular professional development ensures that our educators stay updated with contemporary pedagogy, technology integration, and learner-centric practices—keeping our Heritage dynamic and future-ready.

Physical Education and Discipline

Our PT teachers and sports coordinators nurture fitness, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition through structured physical education, drills, and inter-house and inter-school events. The NCC officer instils discipline, leadership, and a sense of duty through training, camps, and community service, aligning with our Heritage of building responsible, socially aware citizens.

Counselling and Well-Being

Our team of counsellors, including qualified psychologists, supports students’ emotional well-being, career clarity, and personal growth. Through individual and group sessions, they address learning concerns, stress management, peer relationships, and goal setting, ensuring that every child feels seen, heard, and guided. This care framework is an essential part of our Heritage—educating the whole child, not just the academic learner.

Working Together for Every Child

From classroom teachers to PT instructors, from the NCC officer to our counselling team, every member contributes to a cohesive ecosystem where high expectations are matched with strong support. This collaborative spirit is the living expression of our Heritage: a community of educators committed to nurturing minds, creativity, and confidence in every student.

Student Support & Mental Health

We believe a child who feels safe and heard is a child who learns best. Our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a dedicated department offering full-time counseling and a zero-tolerance campus safety framework.

Specialized Support Programs

Dedicated SEL Team & Full-Time Counselling

A full-time Campus Counsellor provides a secure one-on-one space for students navigating adolescence, exam pressure, and personal growth.

'Manavar Manasu' (Student's Heart)

A completely safe, anonymous platform where students can express thoughts, suggestions, or grievances directly to responsive leadership.

Zero-Tolerance Safety Policies

Robust, legally grounded protection comprising active POCSO committees, pioneering Child Against Child Abuse (CACA) boundary protocols, and strict cyber safety guidelines.

The 5 Pillars of SJSV SEL

  • Self-Awareness

Identifying strengths and managing emotions (cultivated daily via custom Yoga and Positive Engagement Programs).

  • Self-Management

Building the self-discipline, organization, and grit required to achieve personal and academic goals.

  • Social Awareness

Developing deep empathy and global perspective through SJSV's community Outreach & Sustainability projects.
