Open Schooling with NIOS

National Institute of Open Schooling — Accredited Institution No.: 19090

Not every learner fits a regular school timetable. As an Accredited Institution of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), recognised by the Government of India, Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya offers a flexible route to the Secondary (Class 10) certificate.

Who It Is For

Students who learn best at their own pace, young people who work while they study, those who have had to leave school, differently-abled learners, and anyone who needs a different path. Our aim is simple: to reach the unreached.

How It Works

• Study without a fixed daily timetable.
• Public examinations are held twice a year, in April/May and October/November, so you can spread your subjects across sessions.
• On-Demand Examinations (ODE) let you appear in most months of the year.
• You get up to 9 examination chances within 5 years.
• The NIOS certificate is recognised on par with CBSE and State Board certificates for further study and employment.
